Since this is her 40th anniversary tour and she didn’t have any dates scheduled in South America (and hadn’t played there in over 10 years), she partnered with a big bank there and staged this show completely free of charge to thank those fans for sticking by her. She wanted to close the tour out with a huge celebration.

Wow, I'm speechless. Madonna is truly the ultimate pop diva of our generation. 

And what a fantastic setting. The show was so gay, vibrant in such a conservative state. I can barely imagine how much it meant for all those people, for those minorities being represented and celebrated at this particular political moment...

It moved me to tears. 

She is truly underestimated. And we are all so lucky to witness this

Ngl, I'm impressed how she adapted moments like Live to Tell for the outdoor staging. 

Think the only performance that lost it's shine from the arena staging was Die Another Day - it really missed the laser effects
