Biden did mention the right to protest peacefully, but his comments about the violence were largely assumed to be about Columbia and UCLA, not other campuses. Those were the most high-profile cases.

And generally, when things turn violent, it's counterproductive, because it'll alienate many people who would've otherwise supported the cause.

This incidenr is bad, but it's anecdotal. I'm not American. I look in from the outside. It's clear to me, you have one thing to worry about at the moment, and that is Trump. If he becomes President again, everything falls. Everything. Vote Biden. That is the best way to get rid of Trump. After Biden wins the election, you can address what you think Biden is doing wrong. But if Trump wins, the US is f----d. And so is the world, most likely. Defeat Trump. There's nothing else. Vote blue.

People really need to wake up and realize that it's time for the left to unite again or the future is lost to the republican party. We have a few months left before the election.
