Protestor gets viciously attacked by Trump supporters

A small group of students decided to hold a pro-Palestinian rally. Trump supporters decided to show up in force and counter-protest.

While both have the right to protest, the behavior from the other side became extremely vile as they started engaging in racially motivated attacks against one of the pro-Palestinian protestors.

Then, they chanted "lock her up" as the police were trying to escort her away.

The woman was visibly shaken and wanted the police to do something about the harassment. 
 

This comes as there is now what appears to be a national trend of conservative students crashing pro-Palestinian protests:

Ok and Also Biden is so disgusting for branding these protests as violent protests while 98 % of them are peaceful.They would rather protect Israel rather than preventing a genocide.

Biden gave the speech in the context of what happened at UCLA, which was a riot, not peaceful protest. He is correct. I watched the whole thing live.

This example however IS a peaceful rally. They were only holding signs in compliance with university rules and not vandalizing/bothering anyone.

Eh, the comment Biden made about violence appeared to be more general, but even if it were only pertaining to UCLA, Biden makes no distinction between the outside agitators (who instigated the violence) and the protestors that had already set up the encampment, who were largely peaceful. He also pretty willfully conflated vandalism and violence, which is absolutely wild imo.

I mean when you vandalize, destroy property, throw objects at police officers (including metal objects) and spray police officers with fire extinguishers, that is not a peaceful protest. I'm just being objective here. I understand people sympathize with the cause.

Biden did mention the right to protest peacefully, but his comments about the violence were largely assumed to be about Columbia and UCLA, not other campuses. Those were the most high-profile cases.

And generally, when things turn violent, it's counterproductive, because it'll alienate many people who would've otherwise supported the cause.
