4th album curse, not Dua's album

I feel like they make whatever number album curse that matches. Years ago it used to be the sophomore slump and then it was the third and now apparently it’s 4th. For Gaga’s sake I hope there isn’t a 7th album curse because she already suffered curses 4-6 :franminervini:

Pretty sure Ive heard the bridge of End of an Era before.

However I found it. Its either I‘m deaf or the bridge sounds like the verses on River by Miley

It’s honestly such a fun album. Don’t get all the bad comments. End Of An Era is the only ‘meh’ song

I just finished my first listen and it's actually a cute album from start to finish. I'm glad it's only 11 tracks because it flows well but doesn't really switch it up that much. Houdini, Training Season and Illusion were the right choices for singles. There's other great songs here like These Walls, Watcha Doing, Falling Forever and Maria.

There's not really BIG club songs like Physical, Levitating or Hallucinate but it's a bit chill and more like something you'd play at a beach or pool party with friends.

My only problem with Future Nostalgia is the songs Good In Bed and Boys Will Be Boys which are weak compared to the strong first part of the tracklist. Radical on the other hand ends really well with Happy For You.

Hmmm. On second listen, Watcha Doing is the biggest bop on the album.

Dunno where y'all coming up with this "4th album curse" business. It's been 3rd album curse for as long as I remember, even back when Kelly Clarkson's "My December" came out.

Just listened to it and it's cute! Chill vibes. I like Maria and Happy For You 😊

Have you checked the Charts Thread today?!

I just experienced my first listen and, damn! I enjoyed this record a lot, it captures this nice "warm wind kisses your face" kind of vibe so well, especially with the first six tracks! the production is gorgeous, it's so clean and minimalistic, i'm not a music expert by any means, but this record feels like a love letter to UK music imo. also, some songs remind me of Dua's earlier stuff, especially Training Season, Falling Forever and Happy For You!

overall, such a nice album, I love how Dua doesn't get too personal with her songs, in the era of easter eggs, relationship speculations and fake tiktok videos about celebs' exes' houses where they allegedly cheated on them, Dua's music feels like a breath of fresh air.

Eternal Sunshine and Radical Optimism are pretty solid pop albums in my opinion. Can't wait to finally listen to Billie's in a couple of weeks.

No shade to Beyoncé and Taylor but I'm loving these short albums. They seem to be a better listen from start to finish but to each their own. They also have a couple of nice stuff in there. I just think sometimes less is more.

Historically it's been the 3rd album, but when Xtina flopped with Bionic, something shifted cosmically and it's been the 4th album curse ever since then.

yup, both are solid projects, wouldn't call them their strongest, but definitely worth the wait! I have a feeling that Billie's record is gonna turn me into a stan of hers lmao!
