Stupid Love MV - Like or Dislike?

Y'all who dislike the Stupid Love video (unless you like it apart from it's iphone quality)

is it because you are not in the range of being a power ranger child?

i love the concept

tribes, colors, costumes etc.

but the way it was shot was not that great, even apart from the iphone quality, just the camera shots and stuff

i hate when camera in videos is always moving, please just find a good angle and stay there for a second

 

still, best video from that era

rain on me was just a green screen with some sh1tty effects and i hate 911 for not matching the album aesthetics

 

i'm also sad we never saw the white tribe

I thought 911 had the best aesthetics from the era. Stupid Love was not a good video. Being shot with an iPhone just for a deal was such sell out move. The quality of the video looked bad, the outfits were basically costumes. It was just not good. Rain on me was worse. I hated the aesthetic, all the green screen. The outfits were terrible and so was the choreo. So disappointing. 
 

911 was art. The video is gorgeous, she looks great. The plot of the video is also great, and it was shot in one of the US’s best parks.

well, agree to disagree i guess 

i don't like anything about 911

camera shots, sets, the moment where they combined two shots and her finger glitches because of it, the way the meaning of every scene is explained at the end

i don't want you to show me the meaning, let me interpret it myself

 

and also, even if the aesthetic was good by itself, i don't like changing stuff 2 videos in

this era was power rangers themed, Gaga being a part of the pink tribe etc.

and it should've stayed like this till the end, not switched to something else halfway through.

she had years to plan how this album was supposed to look.

I probably would have liked it better if it was not filmed on iPhone. I am not sure how much that impacted my perception of it. I see what the vision was, but the execution of it was where I thought it was off. I don't hate the music video, but it isn't my favorite and I think I only watched it a couple times, which is not usual for how I consume her visuals.

Everything about this video gives me lifeee! I remember staying up till early hours of the morning in my uni flat just to watch it, I was soo excited and it genuinely is one of my happiest memories of 2020!
