Do you mean Amazon's? If I remember correctly, Amazon was debuting it's own music service around the time Born This Way was released. Amazon chose to jump on the hype around Gaga's release and offered Born This Way at 99 cents to promote their music service, unbeknownst to Gaga or her team. Every copy purchased for 99 cents was purchased in full by Amazon.

there's a reason why Cruel Summer was charting for so long, it's actually a genuinely good memorable pop song.

Whole thing was bought. There was obvious desperation that this needed to surpass anything else she's ever done - with the rereleases they need her to remain present and relevant, she can't just turn into a jukebox of her past hits, which in my opinion is why the album is so ridiculously long. I'll breathe a sigh of relief when the debut TV finally drops and the inevitable hiatus begins. It's getting stale now
