I don't think anyone on her team expected it to do big numbers, not even her. The Motivation days are over, and she took forever to release, which can be a career killing move even by A-listers. I personally think she will have to work her ass off in the traditional way: multiple singles and videos, while booking every performance, megazine, interview and TV show, and work her way to the top without the hype machine behind her. She can still make it big, even main pop girlie type of big, but at this point, that type of success will only appear if she works her ass off, as Dua Lipa did during the Future Nostalgia era or Taylor and Gaga during their first five albums.

A single for a debut solo album after losing momentum from the group and Motivation. These numbers make sense. The attitude on this site for her is confusing. She can sing and she can dance really well, so I'm not sure why the vibe here towards her is always so negative. Is there a specific reason? Or do we just not want another performer to thrive? What's the problem here?
