Dennis 8,391
A new Harvard poll shows that Trump significantly closed the gap when it comes to college students, a key demographic for Biden. https://iop.harvard.edu/sites/default/files/2024-04/240415_Harvard_IOP_Spring_2024_Topline_Final.pdf 38% of current College Students plan on voting for Biden, 31% plan on voting for Trump. In 2020, according to the same poll 61% voted for Biden, 28% for Trump. 38% of the sample identify as democrats, 23% identify as republicans, and 37% unaffiliated. So it seems that Biden is getting almost all of the democratic vote, but he's struggling with independents. The issue seems to be driven by a declining share of younger people identifying as liberal/leftist. In this poll, only 32% identified as liberal/left. The rest identified as moderate or conservative. What asked what issues concern them the most: Economy (11%) , Immigration (9%), Inflation (8%), Abortion (6%) and the Environment (5%) came on top. Remember these are voters who are currently attending college. There are other voters in this age group who don't go to college. College students perception of more important/less important issues deciding their vote:

Argentum 1,705
its more like Biden is closing the gap by losing young people's trust "Δεν είσαι αγάπη. Δεν είσαι αγάπη. Είσαι οφθαλμαπάτη. Η τέλεια οφθαλμαπάτη" - Λαίδη Γκάγκα, 2016

Now only 32% identify as left/liberal. 45% identify as moderate, and 31% as conservative. This is not super favorable numbers for the democratic party. Karl 3,575
Those 37% who are unaffiliated are gonna regret not voting for the lesser of two evils when democracy is taken from America if trump wins. Next time they might not be able to vote at all if Trump and the extreme right have their way.

Trump is even more of a Zionist I hope progressives and Muslim voters realize that a protest vote against Biden will only bring about more issues for minorities under a Trump presidency

NUTELLA 26,641
Trump closes most peoples' gaps 🤢 For real though: it is terrifying when young, "educated" people are both eager AND hateful/misinformed. They can be dangerous with their political zeal. We can only hope the "undecided" people (seriously... for real??) move in to save the day 🙏🏼 But if you've been paying ANY attention to US politics and are still "unaffiliated" at this point, you probably aren't much of a "helpful" person to begin with 🤷🏽♂️👀
DopeEnigma 1,774
Go out and VOTE, polls are meaningless at this point. Also, for those calling out Biden for his reactions to Gaza, I’d really be interested to know what you think Trump or another leader would have done differently. If you think he’d do better you’re clueless and if you think voting against Biden is going to do you any favours, wish you all the luck in the world if Trump does get in again. Also, nationally, Biden has been improving in the polls and it’s essentially a tie whereas Trump isn’t making much in terms of new ground, again, remember the polls in 2012 for Obama, they predicted Romney to win and look what happened. REALITY 80,162
It's not so much that Trump is gaining support, it's that Biden is losing it. His handling of Gaza and this TikTok ban are gonna cost him in November imo. Neither candidate is good, but I can't fathom how people would switch over to Trump. Trump has done nothing besides get worse and I doubt people—specifically young college students who seem to be more socially/politically aware—would just be like "F*ck Biden, let me vote for Trump." If Biden loses, it'll be because of a lack of interest from voters, not because they see Trump as the better alternative. 𝔗𝔥𝔢 𝔪𝔬𝔫𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔯 𝔱𝔬𝔯𝔢 𝔞𝔴𝔞𝔶 𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔪𝔞𝔰𝔨 𝔞𝔫𝔡...𝔦𝔱𝔰 𝔣𝔞𝔠𝔢 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔪𝔦𝔫𝔢.
