I was sooo glad that out of all the potential choices, that John Wayne was selected to get the visuals and close out the trilogy of music videos.

I know some would have selected DIC however John Wayne was the right choice.

The melody that you choose can rescue you ♥

I don't think this mindset should be  allowed :triggered:

My beef with Joanne runs as deep as @River beef with TTPD. My apologies if I offended.

love the song but the video never got me. it felt very disconnected to the rest of the Joanne era. Still a fun video!

I love this video :triggered:  I didn't realise it was so controversial in the fanbase. Anyway, it's such a shame that it didn't get more recognition. I don't think they really promoted it though. Did it ever play on the radio or TV as a proper single? I don't think the song was officially released as a single... for some reason

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Maybe she originally wanted to perform it at SB.

Love this song, and the mv is so much fun and aligns nicely with her earlier, more raucous videos.

Her best MV imo. It's pure adrenaline and chaotic in a good way unlike Perfect Illusion. Plus, I love it that it starts as a "sequel" of Perfect Illusion and then she's like "f*ck that pretentious and boring scheisse, let's get wild".

I loved it so much when it came out but the way she just dropped it out of nowhere and call it a day just made me forget about it as time went by :emma:

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Gaga described the 'Joanne' album was somewhere in the middle of STEFANI & Gaga. JW and DIC I think represent the more Gaga side of the album.

Yeah good point! The video didn't feel as thought through as her other ones directed by Jonas Åkerlund and I think that's where the disappointment was for me.
