Usually the bonus tracks come to streaming a few months after release

Not in the case of Chromatica😂

It's okayyy... more of the same from the last few albums. I'd say she dabbled into it with a few 1989 tracks, developed a little further with Rep, developed a lot into this sound with Lover, and it's fully realized with Midnights and now this as well.

I hope her next album gives us Shake it Off or LWYMMD.

I want Taylor's American Life. She's #1, unbeatable, what else is there to do? Lose half your fanbase, break that chain!

I think many fans, or casual fans would cancel their preorder and just listen to these tracks on streaming, I think giving the illusion that they got some special edition, play with their FOMO and then after the package was deliver, release these songs on streaming, is just a bad predatory thing to do.

I hope other artists, especially Gaga, won't do that.

Gaga has put bonus tracks on physical editions and released on streaming for:
The Fame
Born This Way
Joanne
Idk about the Jazz albums as I skipped them lol

Casual fans aren't going to have preordered more than 1 copy just to get all 4 bonus tracks on physical - looking on the vinyl pages I frequent, most casual fans have skipped preordering a physical copy because of the tactics she's used for this roll out.
And Swifties are well versed in her fake flash sales - she did it for Midnights & every subsequent album which is like 5 albums now lol - they all know that all the copies will be made available on launch day if not beforehand so they can combine into 1 order.
Fans aren't going to cancel an order just because they can listen to it on streaming. I don't know if you're a CD/Vinyl/Physical media collector for Gaga or any other artist, but I have a massive vinyl collection - but I primarily listen through streaming because my ADHD prefers for me to focus on a specific song some days which just isn't possible with vinyl. I get the vinyl to have that physical tangeable copy of albums that I enjoy/are special to me etc. And many other collectors are the same. You can't listen to vinyl on a Northern Rail pacer train lol

I knew she would release a new version just a couple hours after the initial release lmao. She is so goddamn hungry for charts & money it's crazy

can someone pls explain how tf someone has FOMO for a music release???

I think what they mean is the marketing played on fan FOMO. By marketing songs as exclusives, some may purchase a copy they wouldn’t have normally to avoid missing out on hearing an exclusive song from physical release. I don’t think they mean FOMO of the larger release

I just listened to the first 13 songs. I can't make myself to listen to it anymore. It's so bland and uninspired. Absolutely nothing stands out and nothing is memorable, I can't remember anything and I was paying so much attention. Definitely the worst Taylor album I have ever heard. I won't comeback to it, I had enough.

When we're not together tell me everything's gonna be alright
