Nah, I don’t know anything about joker or Batman or whatever it all is. Literally only that joker is a bad guy (?) and Harley is his girlypop (?) but yeah never seen or known of anything beyond that. Literally just watching for the scenes that involve Gaga

I will watch it again some days or the day before watching FAD just to get in the mood but if it wasn’t for it I’d probably never rewatch out of my own will. I actually think that movie is very overrated, I mean, it’s good but nothing special besides the ending (which got me shooketh to the coreth)

Batman is just a kid in this universe, that’s the only thing you need to know that you can’t imply from the trailer lol

She's in safe hands. He won an Oscar for this role. There's a scene in this film that many consider to be one of the best in modern cinema. So glad that Gaga will undoubtedly be a part of this in the sequel, if the widespread acclaim for that lipstick scene is anything to go by.

Todd Phillips was intending to do a re-telling of the Joker story which is very different from the original Batman vs Joker comic books. The first movie decided to do a time change and make Batman a young boy, so they're totally different ages. Who knows if Batman will even ever show up in this movie's universe seeing as Joker will be too old by that time to take him on. This movie is intended to be a deep dive into a troubled man's psyche who becomes the Joker as a defence mechanism and is driven insane while doing so. And now Gaga's going to join in for the fun (though perhaps not as a psychiatrist as is depicted in the original story but a patient herself, although that's still a bit unclear from the trailer).
