Because a doctor should tell you what medication to take and not Lady Gaga because she got a fat check from a Pharma company NO DUCT TAPE - NO MISSON

Her residency is in a concert venue - not on an Carino floor. Thats like saying performing next door to a restaurant is direct promotion of the restaurant. Proximity is not promotion. So the point is moot there. If she posted an ad saying “Hey gamble online with XYZ” she WOULD likely have that banned in certain territories however. 2) Celebrity endorsements deals of prescription drugs has bigger ethical implications than gambling. The average person should not be advertised a specific drug - it should be up to a doctor to work with them to find what is the best medication for them. The fact that “I saw this Lady Gaga ad, can we try that?” Can even be part of the equation of treatment is an ethical issue. No way around it. 4

Because of EU online advertising laws banning the promotion of perscription (controlled) medications. You can only advertise non restricted medication like your everyday paracetamols/hayfever tablets etc - and I'm 99% certain they can't be advertised through celebrity endorsement either but I might be wrong.
