MelbHawker 6,583 Posted April 14 Share Posted April 14 I think the chorus is really catchy & I also really like the music video - she put in the effort, & I love the Barcelona backdrop/Kylie-homage. In saying that, I can’t help but feel that the hype for this album really just isn’t there. The music isn’t standing out like FN’s singles did. Houdini continues to impress me but Training Season was a really odd choice for a second single. Something’s just not clicking with her audience this time around. Her team did claim that this music would see her dominate, change music etc., & she said that she was putting out some experimental, psychedelic sounds etc. The reality is entirely different.. I’m not saying the musics bad - I enjoy listening to all 3 singles thus far - but something is missing/lacking in all of them. I hope the album surprises everyone.
