I wished that it had a little more hyperpop influences though because certain parts of it sound a little too 2017 for my taste. That being said, I wouldn’t be mad if Spotify played it for me. I wish she would take advantage of being from Miami and go full on with that aesthetic, whether some of it cliche or not. I understand the Charli comparisons from the snippets but now seeing the mv and hearing it in full, I think she could make this her own thing.
