Climate change gonna keep raising cost of our food while ppl blame little things like Carbon tax for inflation (cough cough stupid Canadians)

OT: This should affect dark chocolate prices way more than regular milk chocolate seeing as most "chocolate" people eat is mostly other ingredients and not truly chocolate :enigma:

So my kid kats are safe :ladyhaha:

I hate the cycle we're creating here :rip:

- climate change affects agriculture causing certain products to be more scarce

- scarcity causes prices to go up

- people blame legislation that tries to limit climate change

- people elect politicians who scrap climate change measures

- climate change gets even worse

- agriculture suffers even more

- scarcity is even more of a problem

- prices go even higher

- repeat :spin:

Politics rn in Canada has successfuly managed to blame inflation on climate policies and Trudeaus policies that at best are 5% to 10% of the cost increase

Meanwhile the 90% that came from Ukraine war, covid lingering effects, weather related crop losses on food, ageing populations impact on labor force etc go totally ignored... but the carbon tax we get rebated for gets all the blame :rip:

I still partially blame Trudeau for housing cost inflation tho. On that he definitely has part of the blame. Not on the rest of the sectors tho
