My flatmate and I decided to sublet our apartment during that period and those prices are pretty insane and inconvenient for us now, Adele sis what you're doing?

Honestly i’m kinda over artists just doing a few shows in Europe in big venues and expecting Europeans to just travel there? I would have loved to see Adele but i’m not going to Germany, book a hotel etc just to see her bc it is ‘near by’. Why are concerts becoming a luxury thing like that? A nice vacation would cost the same

A sofa I intend to buy also costs about the same and this is a long-term investment, I'll be comparing prices and watch for at leaft half a year. I think that concerts have become something of a new status symbol. People post pics, put it on instagram and brag about the live ***experience***.

But I think also that globalization and spread of English language plays a big role.

Liberalization of the traffic market, cheaper air flights, more flights, more connections, more tourism-relying ideas.

All the information are available in English, there is no need to know German to see her live, everything can be booked in English. 25 years ago a person from Croatia or Czech Republic would be unlikely to watch a big singer in London. Or someone from Italy in Germany. But now singers can count on their global reach. I think declining CD sales also play a role, fans are now expected to buy concert tickets and compensate for 20 non-sold CDs
