A slay but who is she

Tell me you are born after 2000 without saying you were born after 2000

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

the only artist who can get away with no artistic evolution or sound change in the 20 years she's been releasing music. I say that as one of the contributors to the 34k streams of her sleeper hit ain't no mountain high enough. :ororomunroe:

It feels so odd as a person who grew up with Cascada seeing them go from Eurodance to basically Pop 😭

I know of her and I was born after the 2000s. Granted the first time I heard Everytime We Touch I thought that it was from the 90s and that Cascada was some undiscovered artists that no one knew about. I thought the same about TLC and Cher’s Believe.

She needs an original superbop, promo on tiktok/get it viral somehow, and I think she could smash again.

I literally haven't heard her bops in so many years and I will still know every single word mama I love them. Brings me back to 6-7th grade :nooo:

Jax Jones did a remix of his newest single on tiktok which went viral. Everyone tagged Cascada in it, so he contacted her and she recorded the vocals for said remix. It’s going off, and it’s doing the best numbers she did since probably 2010. It’s #1 on her Top Songs on AM and #2 on his Top Songs on AM (#1 is the OG version).

So hopefully this will do something. She seemingly has a budget again looking at the music video compared to anything after 2012, and she announced her first album in 12 years. Now if she can get Jax to sign on to it after that success, let’s pray.

It’s so weird that I started getting back into Cascada a couple weeks ago and now they seem to be having a mini resurgence and I’m here for it.
Cascada was my youth.
My favourite song of theirs:

I went to her comeback US tour last year and it was soooooo fun :firega:  It was her first US performance in 11 years and first show in Texas ever and she sold out a pretty big venue! Like way bigger than I thought she could here. She even did a second show at the same venue back in December, I wish I could’ve gone to that one too!
