In my opinion, those films reached their peaks with Batman Returns and The Dark Knight 🐈⬛ 🃏 I haven’t seen the first Joker, but I have just absorbed the plot on Wikipedia (they don’t call me Jessica Fletcher for nothing! 🔍) and it was a good read. Intensely sad, but I’m actually tempted to watch it now, despite my aversion to all things police-related 🐷 lol I have a prediction for the sequel (apologies if it has already been made by someone else on this site): Spoiler I imagine Dr Harley Quinn is going to be seduced by the “liberation” of her new patient’s insanity, tempted to the “dark side” and briefly living in it alongside Arthur, descending further and further via musical numbers of madness… despite her more altruistic origins. But in the end (perhaps with her dying breath, even??) she is going to “come to her senses” and help Bruce Wayne by (directly or indirectly) inspiring his decision to become Batman and combat evil. As a movie fanatic, I can picture it happening- a light turning back on behind her eyes- while something like 1:25 plays in the background. Thoughts? 🦇 Be nice. Be well. I will predict, however, that this movie will be the biggest movie for Gaga’s career — and I think it’ll expose her to the general public in a way we haven’t seen since the beginning of her career. chathonnete 106 Posted March 15 Share Posted March 15 I predict a movie about a meeting between Joker and Harley, and the intense/toxic relationship they have, the up and down, rivality, love + a parllel storyline about Joker. I believe music will play a huge role in the movie and especially jazz music (the teaser, the leaks from set). I even think Harley queen will be a sort of singer, old fallen singer. I think it will be huge and well done, as Gaga is perfect for the role, and the budget is massive (200M is almost the budget for the first Avatar movie). JessFletch 2,720 Posted March 15 Author Share Posted March 15 (edited) Patient Quinn is looking more and more realistic to me now But a part of me still thinks she is going to be a doctor, testifying on behalf of his release (etc) as she slips into madness until she ultimately turns on him and brings him down, returning to the "good side" with more insanity inside her edit- though maybe she is being ESCORTED into/out of the courthouse by officers because she is a danger??
