I understand and support not voting for any presidential candidates if there were repercussions to low voter count (ex: if a candidate can only win if they secure >50% of the vote), but that’s not how it’s designed. If you’re choosing not to vote at all because none of them speak for you, you’re actually letting the rest of us decide who will speak for you. There are thousands of issues out there with many on the line to be affected by the outcome of this election, so I can’t imagine anyone looking at everything and deciding both parties have equally little to offer. It feels like an excuse to not engage and eliminates a lot of nuanced thinking that is holding this country back in a lot of ways. It’s the same as taking your hands off the steering wheel because you can’t decide which turn to make.

You have every right to do what you want to do, but I’ve yet to hear a thoughtful take on why not voting for a candidate at all offers any positive impact aside from making the ego feel good.

Clearly you have the strength to stomach supporting a genocide enabler.

Sorry but it's deeply comical to me that in the midst of said genocide, your suggestion is the following:

"I know! Let's put Donald Trump in charge of the United States!"

I do not support genocide. I condemn it.

But I envy your stomach, being able to tolerate 🍊

Quote one explicit trump supporting statement I made on this thread? I’m waiting.

You have to be joking right? How are you not supporting it by voting for it’s enabler? Honestly no point with debating with some of you here. The logic isn’t logicing.

My point is that you support a Trump presidency by being unrealistically idealistic about the Democratic nominee, fracturing the left-leaning vote.

Wow so we’re creating narratives in our head now? Your point is in your head ma’am.

Here's a logic exercise for you: Right now the choice is between Trump or Biden.

One has spoken in support of letting genocidal leaders do whatever they want and does not respond well to criticism or pushback.

One has gone from full support of Israel to saying in public and private he doesn't agree with some of the actions taken and is supportive of sending aid after criticism.

There is no 3rd possible route. These are the 2 paths we can choose at this point. Not choosing one strengthens the potency of each vote for both possible sides. So which one would you rather? Sucks but this is the reality at this point.

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

You concur nothing of value.

And I don’t believe you’re capable of empathy if you are willingly voting for a genocide enabler.

no, it's the logic you said wasn't logicing. it's not "creating a narrative" it's inferring what will happen based on reasons and rationality. LOGIC. you wanna die on the hill of this single issue that's absolutely fine but I will be blaming YOU when NATO goes to ****, all of the post war protections get washed down the sink, populism gets even worse, Ukraine ceases to exist, trade wars deepen/begin....like think three dimensionally about the issue I beg. This is Donald Trump we're talking about

I don't believe you are capable of seeing "value" if you are willing to let Trump swagger back into the white house.

What would you do in this circumstance, @Versace?

Tell me how you would fix the world. Please, I'm listening eagerly.

How difficult is it for people to comprehend this is a BINARY choice??

Nobody is saying they LOVE and support Biden.

He is the ONLY option we HAVE.

What’s not clicking? For ****’s sake.
