Anyway today's situation is totally different, because both candidate's politics and policies are very well known.  I agree that Trump must not be elected.

I guess it's subjective to a point... But a wall, mass deportation, open Islamophobia, sexism, admitted sexual assault, and racism (among other instances) in the form of spreading a rumor the only black president we've has to be a Muslim "not from here"? Versus what? Standard moderate democratic policy which in reality is moderate conservative ideology in comparable nations? A pay bump for women and expanded social safety nets? Yeah, there was definitely a lot of hatred for Hillary. A lot of it was from distaste of her husband and the fact that she's a woman. The biggest justification anyone could come up with as to why he was threatening to lock up his political opponent was deleted emails that came to light well after he began the chanting to jail her. Emails. Which his administration quickly also ended up doing. And we knew Trump's politics from the beginning. Build That Wall. Throw Them Out. Police Brutality is Good Actually. Lock Her Up. But yeah, personal opinion. 

I'm glad you agree he shouldn't be elected.

Voting Marianne in my primary just to make my voice heard. (If you haven’t heard her talk or points, she’s not some orb lady - she’s got US history down and some amazing progressive ideas).

Then plugging my nose at the booth and voting Biden/Harris  

I’m a Bernie-minded person through and through. Sad we still haven’t moved that direction and the Dems have screwed over popular ideas like his in the last 8 years. But I’ll listen to Sanders, AOC and Marianne when they tell us to vote Biden.

(And it’s been kinda peaceful without worry what the president is tweeting every day for 4 years). I’m just tired of being gaslighted by the media and Dems saying “the economy is great.”

What you say is true,but as I remember it, most of those things weren't known until after Trump was elected.  What you said earlier is how I remember the times before the election:  "He was known as a failing business man and reality show host who said the racist things people wanted to say but were scared to out loud."  That wasn't enough to make him seem worse than Hillary at that time, to many people.

I think the Democratic party made a huge mistake making Biden their nominee.  Someone younger who had no involvement in Biden's unpopular decisions, would have had a better chance to beat Trump, imo.  @PartySick correctly pointed out why Biden should not be blamed for most of the things people are upset about.  Those things were not Biden's doing, or were not actually bad things.  However, perception is everything, and many people will vote against Biden because of his age, or his gaffs and speech mistakes, or the Israel/Palestine problem, or the migrant situation at the southern border, or the cost of food, housing, and gasoline.  I wish there was a candidate who would not lose votes for any of those things.  If Biden unfortunately loses, the Democratic party owns that loss.
