The people who voted for Trump probably would vote for this person too:

To Trump enablers - don't come back here and make apology threads like you did in 2017 - 2020. You are not babies and should know the consequences of your actions/inaction. :patrizia:

Let's book mark this thread for Nov 5th so that we remember who to drag :billie:

What’s crazier is that the parties’ nominees get classified intelligence briefings, so, come July, a man who has been indicted for mishandling classified documents and potential espionage will be getting briefed on national security issues 🫠

I think Biden has the power to limit his access. I hope he exercises that power for all of our sake.

I like to think of the 2024 election in terms of worst case scenario:

The worst case scenario with a Biden win is Joe Biden dying.

The worst case scenario with a Trump win is the death of America and consequently irreversible climate change and immense global human suffering (e.g. Trump allowing Putin to do “whatever the hell he wants”). Rights will be curtailed, Palestinians will suffer even greater losses, and enemies of the authoritarian administration will be imprisoned.

Democrats that don’t like Biden can hold their nose for four more years and then have a robust Democratic primary in 2028 with, hopefully, younger candidates. It’s imperative for the sake of all that is good in this world that Trump loses this year. “No joke.”

Except that a few years ago, when Trump was selling tens of billions of $ in weapons to Saudi Arabia, when they were engaging in carpet bombing in Yemen where 200K+ died, nobody was protesting or caring. Was that not genocide because Israel was not involved? It's an exact replica of this war, a terrorist group (houthis) started a war, and you had another nation responding very disproportionately.

Nobody blocked the SOTU road back then.

Nobody was labeling him "Genocide Trump".

So now you're suddenly going to care so much about foreign wars (or one in particular) to the point that you think a dictator-wannabe being elected is a risk you're willing to tolerate?

Okay I guess. Ironically, if he starts imprisoning people, it'll be people from the far-left first.

And he literally said he'll deport pro-palestinian students too.

I didn't all of a sudden care about foreign affairs because of this election and I ask that you please dont make such intense assumptions about my ideology.. I'm also slightly offended that you would assume that I care more about a tragedy over another because you do not me like that but thats ok, i will not take it to heart, because I also do not know you.. but I think we can both agree that something has to change in all of us so we can work towards a more harmonious way of being :holdmyhand:

Normally my mindset is "live and let live" or "different strokes for different folks" but this is too important for shrugging and acceptance of differences. I cannot stand back and watch you make the mistake you seem content/determined to make.

Yes, there are options outside of the law. You're joking obviously, but there are people who DO actually feel that way. Psychopathic zealots/bigots who would go so far as to hurt or even **** a supreme court judge (one of the few remaining liberals among them) to make sure that 🍊 is able to install more of his own selections, to last forever after. A dramatic possibility, sure, but so was your comment 😉

Do everything in your power to prevent 🍊 from EVER HAVING THE OPPORTUNITY to choose another life-long Supreme Court Justice. I beg you. I BEG YOU. None of this is funny or something to be blasé about, babe. For many people, the outcome of this election will prove to be the difference between life and death, liberty and loss.

Don't say "meh, I don't like either option, I'm not picking." That is akin to a child crossing their arms + holding their breath when they don't like what's presented to them for dinner. Being respectful, but also realistic. You are not making a political statement by not voting. You are contributing to the eventual misery of vulnerable people, by being willfully lazy.

I like/admire/respect you and your posts (truly). But this is not something I will pull ANY punches over. WAKE UP GIRL

Hubris is the beginning and (likely) end of my existence, baby.

Let's wreak havoc together (once we can find a common page to plot on lmao) 😉💚🖤
