I mean… being a hp fan IS embarrassing at this point. The “You’re on a Gaga forum” thing also doesn’t make sense, because Gaga is not a raging transphobe who actually hurts the LGBTQIA+ community irl. Being a fan of something that comes from such a vile person, no matter how many times you can say “separate art from artist!!!!”, is at best, embarrassing, and at worst, makes you an accomplice.

As someone who had to get glasses after damaging their sight for reading pirated and badly translated HP books back when they were released, I realize now how many issues these books have and just don't like them anymore.
