Eternal Sunshine - I stilll need time with this song, but I don't think it will end up beding in my top 3. I need to know every song to know its place, but it will probably end up close to bottom. Supernatural - This one is very nice to ear, but it willget boring quickly. I like the instrumental more than lyrics. True Story - this one caught my ear. It's nice and will be high on my list The Boy is Mine - it's not giving what it's supposed to give. not my favourite Yes, and? - I love it, my favourite. instant BOP if you think otherwise buy yourself cotton buds We Can't be Friends (Wait for Your Love) - not surprised this is the 2nd single. It's catchy sad but mid tempo reminds me of one last time I Wish I Hated You - this one give last song on the album vibe. Beautiful. Guest Posted March 8 Share Posted March 8 Wasn't expecting this sort of album sonically after 'Yes, and?'. I would have liked to have heard more of the 90's house influence throughout. I feel like it’s her most authentic one yet and loved the production on it. I do miss her high notes but it wasn’t needed for the type of songs she was singing. listening to it fully I kinda feel yes, and? is out of place. Clearly it’s the most generic track of the album and the most up beat banger so I was anticipating tracks similar to that. My favorites are eternal sunshine, supernatural, we can’t be friends, and imperfect for you. The interlude with astrologist Diana Garland was sweet. The only track I didn’t like is true story. It was meh. Also if their’s one thing I hate is random voice recordings in a song. She continues to sing like a child despite of her vocal ability. Lyrically the most of the songs address to teenagers. I just keep Bye, Supernatural, True Story, Yes And, We can't be friends (the best track on this album). The rest is maybe a skip for me.
