Honestly I think that she's been so successful with regaining the love of the GP, and has 100% established herself as a first class singer and actor, that now she can get away with going more avant garde without too much negative backlash. Also with the recent popularity of her darker experimental music I think this time it could work. It all depends on how clever she does it.
