"Anderson and I are technically connecting through our respective computers. I’m sitting at a bare desk in Berlin, where it’s nighttime and raining. She’s brightly lit at her grandmother’s house having just started her day in Vancouver. Besides similar white button-ups, we’ve got no apparent common ground, yet our back and forth feels intimate. For one, she’s agreed to speak to me without representation, which is rare for her. And behind her, through a small window on a wall filled with books, I can see the garden she’s been posting on Instagram."

Pamela Anderson woke up today with the mission to serve

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

Her recent preference to go makeup-free is likely inspiring countless women (and men) to feel more comfortable in their own skin.

Great shoot. These pics >

Okay but for real I am so extremely insecure because I have small eyes. I have like a dozen make up techniques for making my eyes look bigger because the conventionally beautiful "look" is always big doe eyes, and seeing these photos makes me so happy. I have never felt pretty with a bare face but Pam is serving and looks amazing.

I am so happy to hear that you're loving yourself 💚

Edit- misread, my bad. START loving your face, b*tch 😘

I don't mean to sound preachy, but life is fleeting and literally everyone- every age, shape, color- has something about them that sets them apart in a crowd, superficially speaking.

If ever you feel self-conscious again... pretend you are your 100-year-old self, coming back in time to look at your current self, and try to admire your reflection the same way that older version would look upon you fondly.

You are beautiful, babe!

Schizophonic

In what universe is it nighttime in Berlin when it’s morning in Vancouver?

I know, it's just so hard as a woman because I am very ugly and masculine (not on purpose, just my genetics and hormones). I have been abused, excluded and bullied a lot throughout my life, and that on top of so many other issues I struggle with, make it so hard to accept myself. Like if I was just slightly prettier life would be so much easier. But I know that's useless to think about. I am trying to deal every day.

I need to get more active I think. I used to do a lot of yoga and weight lifting and it helped me feel better about myself, because I may be ugly but at least I was strong. Definitely need to put more effort into that again. Just hard with school and work. I commute two hours one way to college so it takes up so much of my time.
