Auther 22,066
Training Season would have benefitted from a good music video. It is by far my least favorite video she has put out in years. Boring and honestly quite creepy. Such a shame since I think the song slaps. Edited March 6 by Agunimon 4 1

I watched it at the gym one morning while on one of the machines...I cringed the entire time. Something about her being the only woman with all those guys felt creepy, but the song itself did nothing for me and honestly I would argue Houdini is better. Teletubby 134,105
her both songs are doing better than Ariana's #1 Hot 100 single on Spotify, charts don't matter ⸜(• ◡•)⸝♡🐀💨🚽

27monster27 11,105
It's a shame because the BRIT awards performance (especially with the human statue part) really caught my attention. It's sad that this era isn't connecting with US audiences, but at least the UK is eating it up. he/him/his
stateofgaga 49
I don't think her label will change anything about this era. If they are smart, which I think they are, they'll go on business as usual and announce the album/tour. With that said, I would push Dua to release DL4 faster and before the end of 2025. A four-year break this time around would be a killer for her.
Bronco 5,703
Its really interesting to see how little Future Nostalgia appears to have impacted her fan base size. You'd have expected after such a massive era to see her pull big opening numbers.

Both singles sound like they belong on Future Nostalgia. Her management have been too cocky saying they'll make her the biggest pop star in the world. Totally agree. Releasing a lead single in November will mean you play second fiddle to Christmas songs until late December and even then, people are catching up on "best music of last year lists" right through January. The songs sound like outtakes from FN, just like her re-release songs and Dance The Night. I'm starting to think this is all she can do which isn't ideal when the public move on from this sound. And I definitely think her team thought she was the next huge MPG when, in reality, she has always been more of a European-based (and most prominently, British) phenomenon. She got lucky with the success of FN but non-Americans always struggle after one big era, they usually can't replicate their success unless they're say, Adele maybe. You have to work so hard to push yourself in America if you're British, possibly move there permanently and be a mainstay in their culture if you want to be successful there for years to come. I think Dua claiming this new album's going to be a new sound for her has also turned people off because the majority of us think it sounds in the same vein as FN and we don't like to feel we're being misled. 3 hours ago, Agunimon said: Training Season would have benefitted from a good music video. Judging from the cover art, I thought the video was going to be set in a gym, with her wearing that leotard. That she'd be balancing on a gymnastics beam, using a yoga ball and skipping ropes, that kinda thing. And there would be men lifting weights nearby checking her out. Basically like Kylie's video for Sexercise (but not as sexualised, it is age restricted after all). Which, would have been a bit too sexual but I feel it would have been more mainstream sexual in a way we've seen before, this was sexual in a much more subtle way that most people thought made the men look downright aggressive, which comes across as creepy.

HeavyMetal Halcyon 1,483
In this day and age, it takes a long time to build up to what Gaga, Katy, Kesha, and Beyonce were able to do back in their day. Look at Ariana Grande, she didn't get a number one single until her 5th album! Chromatica Forever 1

More commercial success = higher budget videos, performances, promo slots, visuals in general, and chances of more singles being released to keep momentum flowing. 2
