Some pictures, like the one on the right, were really beautiful and simple, but others appeared rather peculiar and lacked refinement, such as the ones below. I understand that Gaga probably aimed for something eccentric and unpolished ("Music not the bling"). The concept was there, but I feel like it needed more polishing and creative directing and editing to be spot on.
