Something to watch: In the Democratic Primary, people who are protesting Biden are voting "Uncommitted"

As of this post, 16% of the vote is uncommitted. Let's see how high it goes.

For anyone wondering about the uncommitted block, Michigan is very familiar with an uncommitted "protest vote" in their uncontested primaries. In 2012, Obama had a similar protest vote during the Michigan primary that amounted to 20k votes, around 10% of the votes that primary. Obama still won Michigan by 10 points during the general election by more than 400k votes.

2012 Michigan Democratic presidential caucuses

 Barack Obama = 174,054 = 89.31%

Uncommitted = 20,833 = 10.69%

Total Votes: 194,887

On the news they said there’s usually around 20K uncommitted votes every cycle.

We are currently at 40K with 32% of the vote in.

At this rate we might get to 100K uncommitted votes. A clear warning for Biden over this war.

I think it’s downright bizarre there isn’t one democrat candidate out there that could’ve opposed Biden. I know running for president is all about money but they had FOUR years. This is getting scary.

Oh no there are plenty of candidates.  The democratic party is, ironically, undemocratic and the candidates are ordained by special elector types.

Well, that’s kind of supporting my point. Being able to get traction enough comes down to donors and financial backing.

Part of it is psychology. Even if big donors were looking for opposition to Biden, they are massively afraid of the damage a contested party primary can do to a sitting candidate/their replacement.

Drawn out contested primaries massively damage the eventual winning candidate, especially if the opposition party candidate's primary run was essentially a coronation like Trump's is.

The gays know how to party

And therefore whether or not the candidate will protect the special interests of the big boy capitalists
