Mine:

- Poker Face & Starstruck are the best songs from The Fame
- Bad Romance is too overrated
- So Happy I Could Die is the best song from The Fame Monster
- Heavy Metal Lover & Judas are in top 5 best Gaga's songs
- Applause is the best lead single
- Hey Girl is underrated
- Rain On Me is my favorite song from Gaga, close with Free Woman

A lot of these certainly are unpopular you got that right lmaooooo

There was a better album in chromatica but she ceded reins to others bc she felt she needed a comeback album she didn’t have the heart to make. Maybe even better songs to be written.

She doesn’t suit stripped down or minimal type productions imo. She needs layered stuff that’s messy and bombastic like she is. Dope is an exception because the beat in that, sparse as it is, is so blaring that it works. It buoys her voice as she slobs through the vocal line.

Her strongest thing is her voice, with emphasis on vocal delivery and tonality and raw emotion. How does she not suit stripped down or minimal type productions? Her highest streamed songs are Shallow and Always Remember Us This Way for a reason.

Summerboy is one of the best songs on the fame.

SHICD is such a boring song.

Gypsy is amazing. So happy and uplifting.

I love her vocals on Dope.

FOHL is an annoying song.

JAD is top 5 on Joanne. A-yo is one of her worsts.

FW is so overrated and a boring song with the 2012 edm drop.

Hard agree on FW, adding to this: I can’t believe people actually prefer the demo, the final is better but it’s still almost always a skip for me.

I hated Judas single release. It was so cynical and Gaga lost her uniqeness when she released a rehash of her previous hits like Kesha and Katy did. Its like she was becoming a brand at that point . The "controversial" aspect was so contrived. I know it was her label who forced her to release it so I dont blame Gaga much but I think she shouldve fought to release MTN (which was what she wanted) or even You And I as a 2nd single! Thankfully the public saw the deception and turned the attention to the actual good song, TEOG.

As much as I love Gaga's music, (esp OG Gaga), her albums would have benefitted massively if she co-wrote them with more talented writers, and worked with better and more high-end producers. Non of her albums are flawless from beginning to end, and often the music feels half-baked and lacking finesse.

She is (was:messga:) the most exciting, theatrical and avant garde popstar in the world, but mostly her music does not live up to that.

Gaga leans too heavily into camp and queer aesthetics, and it often hinders and cheapens her music and visuals.

Gaga sounds so much more beautiful when she sings softly compared to when she belts, (on electronic music).

Tired or not, Bad Romance remains the best song 'Lady Gaga' has ever done. (Although she was really onto something with HML).

Some songs lack live instrumentation or the production relies too heavy on sounds and not the core of the song itself idk how to describe it.
A lot of her songs really become more fulfilling live. The instruments give the final touch and highlight the chords and melodies and brighten the essence of the songs

I hope this makes any sense

Dope only gets hate because we know what it replaced. On its own its a great song.
Stupid Love is an objectively good & fun song and y'all need to leave her alone. Y'all would love it if it had charted as well as ROM did.
Venus would have been a better lead single than Applause.

The issue with Dope is that it just sounds ugly. I understand that she was trying to convey the raw emotion etc, but she sacrificed style for substance and it naturally puts a lot of casual listeners off.

Teeth is underrated.
Electric Chapel is one of her best songs. The atmosphere is so unique. If LG7 sounds anything like this I'll piss my pants of happiness.
ARTPOP, minus a 3/4 tracks, is trash. She was both too ambitious with the album's concept and not ambitious enough with the music which is the most important thing on an album.
Joanne is not as bad as people say it is and it sounds like a breath of fresh air in her discography. The album cover is very underrated aswell, it's so cute.
Chromatica... I hate the concept, after the Hollywood covers + Joanne + ASIB eras it felt fake

ARTPOP is my guilty pleasure album from Gaga and I'm always drawn to it (or probably still just reeling off the huge amount of hype from the pre-era) but I agree that the majority of it is hot trash. I have no idea where her head was at the time, but on a concept as exciting and imaginative as combining Art and Pop, she totally missed the mark.

Do What U Want is the meat on ARTPOP. When she removed it I dont ackonowledge ARTPOP anymore, sans G.U.Y. Applause,  and Gypsy. It is stale without DWUW.

It's a fantastic song, but I feel like it sounds more like a demo rather than a fully realised song. Her vocals are inconsistent throughout it and it just sounds too washed out and rough around the edges. A lot of BTW suffers from the same issue imo. I know it was the aesthetic they were going for but I think it hinders the album, rather than rly letting each song soar.

ARTPOPSYCHOLOGY

The Queen & fashion of his love don’t fit on born this way and prevent it from being the ultimate dark pop-rock album 🤷🏻‍♂️
