I’m a dark techno boy, but I’ve always been FLABBERGASTED by the general contempt for this B-side. Its silly and superficial, but it is FAR less annoying than songs like Stupid Love, Alice or 911 (I speak truth to power bottoms). “13 Going On 30” soundtrack vibes. Listen to the final 60 seconds and tell me you couldn’t hear Whitney performing that in the 80s 🎤 The lyrics are sweet, light & cute, and the chorus is intensely singable… but if I had a nickel for every negative comment I’ve read about this song on GGD over the years, I’d be a very rich man.
