Love the art, seeing it really sold the cast for me. Now I'm a little excited.

Never watched the last reboot, only the 2 originals

Don't feel bad, no one watched that one.

Seems like a solid cast and honestly, if that rumored plot is true, it might be the most exciting thing the MCU have done in recent years.

Are they still trying with this, ffs.......

Technically this is gonna be the first true attempt at it, the last 2 were simply made for Fox to keep the rights. Same for the never released one from the 80s.

That’s also why they constantly kept making x-men spin offs as well. They had so many years they HAD to make a movie otherwise they lost the rights. I trust Marvel will actually do them correctly, this poster alone feels more true to the comic than anything the old films did.

As much as I wish we could have had a timeline where all of the characters coincide, the rumored plot makes sense. Plus if it’s set in a different decade, it would be fun to see the art styles mixing the retro with the technology. That’s one of my favorite things about Batman: The Animated Series, its set in the 40’s/50’s but they incorporate modern tech into it.

Spoiler

Grace Randolph basically confirmed today in her livestream that the movie will keep switching time periods from modern day back to their 60s period. So it’s possible it’ll show them fighting a villain now and intercut it with their origin story as well.
