I think a lot of people do turn to alternative methods as a supplement rather than a solution.

I forgot about that! There was that YT video when a doctor reviewed the treatments she was getting in Five Foot Two and he said some seemed quite sus. 

Makes me think of Gwyneth Paltrow talking about consuming little but vegetables and bone broth for perfect health.
