I still remember this day so vividly.

I was in uni and live-streamed it alone in my room because I didn't want any randoms messing with the experience for me :teehee:

I got myself my fave takeout and watched the stream on my laptop. I was SO NERVOUS for her!! I was legit shaking. But omfg, when the intro came on and I heard her incredible voice I was immediately at ease... I was like she has GOT this! What an incredible and fearlessly executed show.

And the catching the football at the end is SO underrated, iconic, and ballsy. :diane:

Bloody Michael

I remember watching this live and being emotional, proud, crying, excited, nervous, in awe, happy, stressed, speechless... when i say my jaw was actually dropped from awe and emotion. To summ it up i cried while singing the whole thing.

At the same time i was sad thinking "it doesn't get bigger than this"

I remember it so vividly. I was at my cousins place, the only other Gaga fan in the family, and I just didnt get football so we were just watching till Gaga. And I remember her posting there wouldn’t be guests, and us watching the performance 3 times and just fangirling and then going to sleep because wr didnt care about football.

also we noticed the dancer falling during BTW the first time immediately😂

I know, I was floored

but then really sad because the it’s the most massive performance an artist can do and who knows when it’ll happen again :bradley:

I didn’t want it to end

Yeah I rewatched this tonight and thought about there really hasn’t been a halftime show since with this much production.

I remember very specifically that we were in a weird spot where we presumed she may never be “big” again before this. Her songs from Joanne were doing “ok” and PI had barely cracked the Hot 100. But I remember being in a stream with a bunch of stans who said she was over and them all freaking out the SECOND the DITD synths kicked in.

This really is a beautiful moment we’re never gonna get again, and the NERVES I felt when she was gonna catch the football. I remember some of the gays I was in a group chat with were in the audience, and they told me the setup and how she only caught the ball in 1 rehearsal 💀

Oh wow 7 years. I just rewatched it and it made me just as emotional as the first time. I was watching in a different time zone at that point so it was 2 in the morning. I was really nervous/excited and completely broke down the minute Dance In The Dark intro started playing.

This performance was such a pinnacle of her career yet she keeps burning just as bright today (I don't care what people say because in my eyes she does). The things she's done since then is simply amazing. I remember imagining what she would do for the Super Bowl back in 2017, with the Monster Ball & BTWB in mind thinking there would be an elaborate stage and extravagant costumes. But just like she said in Five Foot Two, she's not gonna do what people expect her to do. And that's why I love her so much: she keeps doing her thing. And that night she simply showed her incredible ability to perform and execute a show like a full-blown professional.

I can't decide if I want her to do it again some day, but it would be mad to see what route she would go for that. It makes me so proud of her and of all of us to see her kill that show!

I think in alternate universe she sang "The Edge of Glory" before jumping from stadium roof.

I also wonder if her team had plans for a "John Wayne" segment since they had a secret mv all shot amd ready to drop.
