Nah. Quality and versatility over quantity for me. Different strokes, different folks.

What if you never getting fed again, or when you did, it's not the dishes you wish you've had since mother got different ideas in the kitchen when you said you eat anything that tastes good? :franminervini:

I don't like her music but there is no denying that she respects her fans and tries her best to give something extra each and every time. Bravo to her. I will try to give her discography another chance hoping to find a tune and hit the repeat button.

And the thing is, she will be eligible for the Grammys AGAIN next year. Probably stealing AOTY from the hands of another more deserving queen, since it's rigged in her favor.

Auralegends

I will always be a Gaga stan, but to be honest I'm glad I started becoming a Swiftie last year. It's like there is almost always something to look forward to: re-recordings with new vault tracks, surprise drops or a new album like this one.

As for Gaga, and I do not mean this as an attack on her, Chromatica was a short era and we basically didn't get anything new after September 2020 that felt like something to look forward to (aside from TCB). This year we will have Joker and maybe LG7 but that's a 4 year gap.

Of course, things could get worse, look at the Rihanna Navy

Although it does seem a little pretentious and vanilla, I do kinda like the aesthetic it's very Lana.

I'm expecting low-tempo, very wordy songs driven by mellow instrumentals.

she deserves all the success she gets because like she said she loves, writing, recording and performing and doesn't do things for awards. Which is literally who Gaga was years ago...

Someone needs to watch Miss Americana

Cities will allow it causes everywhere this human being appears with her tour the whole economy of the country benefits from it, and that’s a fact.

Is it a fact based on truth or based on the measurements of our government? Because I wouldn't call going into debt for a concert a benefit to the economy.

It's giving Great Value Lana. If it's another collab with Jack, I assume it's just more rejects from Lana and Jack sessions.

I mean personal debt is bad for the economy, but only if it's unmanageable and likely to collapse. Otherwise, a short to medium term personal debt that leads to money directly spent on high tax industries is great for the economy & for the government.

Concerts are 1000% good for the benefit of local economies, especially in hospitality & tourism-centric economies. They drive spending on the main sources of employment in those economies - hotels/accomodation, food outlets, local public travel & private travel infrastructure, security agencies, stadium staffing agencies and often lead to a sizeable minority (especially for weekend gigs) making a bigger event for themselves out of a singular event leading to increased spending across the areas other attractions and amenities.

Another AOTY for Taylor and Jack Antonoff will make history as the first producer ever to win POTY 4 times back-to-back :anveeroy:

Pop culture is so bland nowadays and I'm not even old enough to be nostalgic. I like her new album cover though so at least that's something I guess :yennefer:

Is there some reason my LG7 isn't here? Has she died or something?

I'm not a fan of her but I'll give a huge respect for her.

I'm so jealous, how lucky is her fanbase!!!

I will fly on a challenger across the sky like a phoenix..

i’m just so exhausted hearing her all the time. and i sit next to the person at work who is always talking about her. every conversation. sings her music every day and plays it out loud for everyone to hear. it is so grating anymore at this point. and i hate on taylor because she is an unapologetic climate terrorist. obviously large corporations are worse but she is not insignificant. i would like to go one day where i don’t hear about her, her relationship, or what she ate that day. it is literally unavoidable.

Only if it's new spending. IE pushes the consumer to make extra money they normally would have otherwise not earned or spent. Buying a $15 pizza in Chicago where a concert is happening isn't helping the economy if the consumer would have otherwise spent $15 on a burger in their hometown. Or being late on a car payment to get concert tickets. The consumer is just shuffling and concentrating spending at that point, not generating economic activity. Generating activity is only a thing if the consumer has the money just sitting idle in their account with no purpose.
