So many great moments, performances and host. I was so happy until the last moment when Taylor completely snubbed Céline Dion (unintentionally I guess). It felt rude the way she left her stood there alone for so long while hugging everyone and just took the award harshly. I just think it would have been such a good closure moment and instead I couldn't help but feel so embarrassed and sad for Céline. I mean, it's a huge faux pas considering she's such an icon and that it's her first appearance since she got this rare disease. I can't wrap my mind around the fact Taylor, who is so professional, completely missed out on this kind of award étiquette. I couldn't believe what I saw, I had to rewatch that moment back, she barely even looked at Celine! So awkward and rude do i need to understand a pineapple to eat a banana

Anderson123 36,031
It was a great show, so many incredible performances (minus Travis Scott) and tributes. Very happy for Miley, Billie and SZA. Sad for Lana, she deserved Alternative album at the very least and of course Album of the Year but it is what it is. Melodrama, Pimp a Butterfly, Renaissance, etc. all of these deserved. Lana should’ve won for Norman Rockwell but that was a very hard year, it was 100% Billie’s. Also, I love that Taylor brought her on stage and said that about her. Lana was not uncomfortable or “forced” to be there, I’m sure she’s just shy and was very happy for her friend. Nite 4,970
Wow it seems insane that Lana didn't win any, I was hoping she or SZA would win AOTY. That moment on stage looked so awkward

StrawberryBlond 14,193
I really was surprised at a lot of these choices. A big focus was put on awarding the most popular songs this year more than usual. It's still beyond my comprehension how some people can be awarded for say, 3 awards and win 1 or 2 of them but people awarded for 4 or more go home empty handed. Lana was nominated for 5 and didn't win any, Jon Batiste and Olivia (whose album was better than her debut which won awards) were nominated for 6 and won nothing. Meanwhile, many other people won with much fewer nominations. How can your album clearly be so beloved to get so many nominations and win less than people who weren't nominated as frequently? Makes no sense. I know that if I'd nominated someone heavily, they'd be winning something. And I know, they're majority voted but still, nominations are majority voted too, so awards should be more evenly spread out and reflect the overall tastes. Midnights winning AOTY giving Taylor the record for the most wins in history is beyond my comprehension. 3 times was more than enough, we get it. There wasn't even a long gap between her last win this time like previously. And yet she still acts like a 13 year old caught in the headlights when she wins. Nobody's buying it anymore. And to announce another album? She understood what overexposure was back in her call to Kanye all those years ago and she wasn't as big during her 1989 era as she is now and yet she keeps testing the public's tolerance of her. I wish the Grammys would at the very least give us a break from her.
Taylucifer 5,073
Olivia not winning anything is actually crazy. GUTS is excellent. Lana not winning I guess is expected at this point? Midnights for album of the year, even Taylor was gagged. Victoria Best New Artist I know that's right. So happy for Miley and her wins, long overdue. I think the overall theme of the night truely was cultural penetration. Billie & Taylor through the Barbie Movie & Eras Tour, Miley from the sheer success of Flowers.
