Lextyr97 19,791
Just wanted to say since now I’m not watching, Travis is a truly DISGUSTING person. I went down the rabbit hole of his career. Humble beginnings and it went to ****ing waste on him. I feel passionate because i do not like what he stands for and what he brings out of his fans. I’m so angry with the Grammys, I’m sorry. Goodnight. Miley for ROTY, Midnights should lose AOTY. Bye

I hope you don't compare the topics themselves, cause this isn't a "who had the worst life"-contest. I personally enjoyed WWIMF because it's a song about a young person searching for themselves, talking about depression and reflecting on what every human beeing wants while living - happiness. Guess the Grammys agree on this, as well as people listening to the song. Ok, I think WWIMF has basic lyrics. Yeah the song is deep, I’m not here to say it’s superficial or anything. I’m talking about the quality of the song and the lyrics. It’s a nice song, is that what you want me to say. Despite it being predictable lyrically and melodically, it’s a solid song. obviously this isn’t a Shape of You vs Million Reasons situation. I have a lot more respect for WWIMF than that and ultimately good for Billie. But to me it’s not on the same level as A&W. Y’all are allowed to have your own opinions, I don’t care that much. Just aggravated that Lana is always getting snubbed. Guess I should’ve said what I did on LanaBoards instead of GagaDaily.

I do think "more deep" lyrically complex and telling songs with storytelling are inherently better than songs that have a catchy hook, earworm of a chorus that is repetitive, and that have infectious production - but rely a lot on the producer more than the artist to deliver in the song. I think it also relies a lot on what a person personally classifies as "better" Sober by Kelly Clarkson is my all time favorite song, but Bad Romance is one of the songs that is always going to make me freak the **** out lol. That's a good example. For me, from that album alone - I think So Happy I Could Die and Speechless surpass Bad Romance and Alejandro, as an example. Monster is in top 3, then Bad Romance, then Alejandro, then Teeth. I hope this gives you context in where my head is with how I rank music against the same body of work. That's the issue with opinions, everyone thinks there's is the correct one.
