At a special SAG screening event she said

“There’s no way to feel sad when you know you’re this blessed,”

“Obviously I think Greta should be nominated as a director, because what she did is a once-in-a-career, once-in-a-lifetime thing, what she pulled off, it really is,” Robbie said. “But it’s been an incredible year for all the films.”

Robbie also clearly pointed out that she is “beyond ecstatic that we’ve got eight Academy Award nominations, it’s so wild.” “Everyone getting the nods that they’ve had is just incredible, and the Best Picture nod,” 

“We set out to do something that would shift culture, affect culture, just make some sort of impact,” Robbie said. “And it’s already done that, and some, way more than we ever dreamed it would. And that is truly the biggest reward that could come out of all of this.”

I don't feel that bad for her. Barbie was the biggest movie of last year and Margot + her husband were producers on it. They probably made a **** ton of money from it all. Plus, Barbie isn't even her best work. I Tonya is a masterpiece, if you know you know.

Margot and Greta are both nominated for best picture, which they obviously dont deserve, and this comes from someone who extremely loved Barbie. America Ferrera also got nominated for best actress, which is insane! Billy Elish got nominated for Best song. So I dont understand why people are saying they got snubbed and turn it into a feminist issue? Movies like May December actually deserve to get nominated and they got snubbed.

see when you’re humble and confident in yourself you see the bigger picture, the movie was a cultural phenomenon and margot is a big part of that, she should be so proud of that!

Truth! Margot should've won an Oscar for I, Tonya but that was Frances' year and definitely deserved it too.
