Honestly all Kygo does is take classics and put a dated house beat on them. Like they all follow the same format his Higher Love remix did. It's so stale at this point. And it’s been like that his entire commercial/mainstream career it seems. Ava’s time needs to be smarter about the songs they give her because her career is always bubbling under it seems Pronounced like “Balenciaga” . I personally think she def doesn’t need to rely on interpolations anymore. Some of my fave songs on her album are the fully original ones and I think she should lean into that. However, they do nothing on the charts and it seems lately the public only seems to respond to her songs using older songs so I get her motives.
