This. The first entire week after, Twitter was hyped AF and there were TONS of posts surrounding the tease and Gaga. Now it's crickets.

A "gift for the fans" is a tease and then immediate release or at the very least, announcement with a date. A tease and then silence for (at least) 2 weeks lets all the hype from that MOMENT die.

Kudos to her team for interacting on TikTok more, as that's (unfortunately) a big key for streams and appeal. Also, the tease itself was genius and something they had never done before, as they typically are very.... traditional.

But damn, the fans have been through enough between album delay, COVID, botched era, lockdown, over 4 years, AND surviving 2023?
