Tbh I think the problem is not Gaga and the Haus but more on the side of Interscope. The album is ready to go and I guess Gaga and her team wanted to release it earlier but Interscope probably didn't let them yet as there might not be a very commercial song on the album to serve as lead single material. From what we know the album seems very experimental and Interscope is known to give a lot of freedom to Gaga's musical direction as long as they can decide what the lead single should be like.

Hence I think Die With A Smile exists. This song feels like a compromise between Gaga and the label as they latter one wanted a commercial hit first before the album can drop. Interscope probably pushed Gaga to do the collab.

Even though the song feels more like a Bruno Mars song Gaga is the one billed first in the title and the song was published and primarily being promoted by Interscope. 

Idk what to believe anymore.

UGH I'd love her to do a trilogy! The Weeknd and Beyoncé are both doing it it would be amazing if she did to. A triptych that follows a narrative and delves into all of Gaga's different facets. 

I'd be down for more jazz to appear but as long as it was original music this time, and was more modern and progressive like future jazz etc.

 

 

I LOVE the idea of Gaga making a progressive jazz album for LG8. Being an incredible jazz performer plus a forward-thinking popstar, she’s the ONLY person on earth who can define what the future of jazz might sound like thru a pop lens. The album wouldn’t need bops or in-your-face Broadway belting. I’m thinking something like Billie’s My Future but on steroids with electronic twists and turns. Long song durations. Slipping in and out of English and French. Weird vocal inflections and raspy singing. Piano interludes. Some autotune. Drifting in and out of madness, Gaga getting drunk on red wine with a cigarette in hand. Lofi synths. Overall a quieter album, but with some moments of climax, groove, and a rich sonic texture.

Reality: LG7 is 12 songs and the special project is a Broadway musical opening in 2027
