Security is a top priority but somehow we “know” that the album was moved up, that Gaga and Interscope are in a disagreement, that a music video was shot but the lead single might change, but also there actually won’t be a lead single.

The point I’m making is not that insiders should give us the date or the title, it’s to get people to question why they don’t.

People who claim to have inside information don’t share hard facts like “Lady Gaga’s new album is coming out on July 26th” because when July 26th comes around and there’s no album it’s clear they were lying or just wrong.

But if you give people some word salad with buzz words and make it sound like it could be true, it keeps people coming back for more doesn’t it. It’s basic click bait.

Just be wary of speculation packaged as facts. Particularly when said information aligns with pre-existing narratives and ideas around the release (e.g September/October). Or when the information comes out after something Gaga herself shares (e.g. a TikTok about wanting to release new music all at once - and now a rumour that Gaga and Interscope can’t agree on the rollout)  

And, no, random users on an internet forum with either no proven track record or an inconsistent track record are not reliable corroborators.

Whether true or not, well intentioned or not, all “information” is pure speculation until it can be confirmed. And the only information we’ll likely ever be able to properly confirm are dates and titles.

I 100% understand where you're coming from! Which is why I have said, from the very beginning, everyone believe what you want. I actually encourage people to form their own opinion, but be kind to others in doing so.

Most everything can't be "proven" until it actually happens. It's just pop music at the end of the day. Time will tell

well... it is exhausting because look at all the arguing that's going on  i'm not placing any blame because both sides are making valid points, i'm talking about the negative atmosphere and i'd just like the rollout to begin so we can finally freak over something REAL than a rumour lol

Sounds like another messy era in the making. The release of DWAS at this time so close to everything else was nonsensical. So I believe the plans are changing week to week tbh. What it tells me is they don’t seem to have much faith in Gaga and aren’t that excited about this project.
