Most musicians announce releases at least a week or two in advance with pre-saves, pre-ordere and use SM to build a bit of hype  even Gaga in the past announced **** weeks in advance.. even this single, it was announced in the beginning of last month its coming sometime in october. Not to mention the ****ed up fact that she basically announced lg7 in MAY, and we're getting it almost a year later. So I don't think her giving a date a week or two in advance is bad, what she's been doing this whole year with occasional teasing that lead to nothing on the other hand was slightly cruel.

I agreed with everything you said, except for the “slightly cruel” part HAHAHA like, cmon, aren’t we being a little dramatic? It’s just pop music y’alll. Like, it’s okay to have some meltdowns over the long waits, but let’s not act like she’s mentally torturing us

It's normal for us to feel down when she's silent. Considering her team has a HISTORY of postponing, shelving and abandoning projects.

I mean Oct 18th would work if it’s a Halloween Esq single, streams would only go up closer to Halloween, but then again happy mistake is giving dark theatre ballad and despite promo… it’s a weird situation, because I’m sure her team expected massive numbers for JFAD, and a push for her brand pre single, the opposite kinda has happened…… HQ didn’t even stay on the charts after a week, it’s worrisome, and you have to a lesser extent KP just brutally not charting anymore with a pop comeback, label def has to be considering different things and DWAS could be affecting the release and type of song being released (see TEOG over Judas/ you and I over Scheissa, Applause over X dreams). I hope things stay on track though.
