Sales wise its hard to compare because L4S & C2C both had physicals ready to go at launch but Harlequin didn't. Harlequin was also the biggest release on the Jazz charts since L4S though - the album did very well in the relevant genre. But neither of those albums were surprise releases and they also had a monument legend of Jazz on them which meant 2 fan bases were buying. My point is that its pointless talking about her Jazz albums and their chartability in comparison to her pop career. The GP ain't gonna buy a surprise drop Jazz album for a film they've heard was bad. Because they don't listen to jazz albums that much anyway. The GP are going to be significantly more interested in giving a trial listen to a lead single of a full Lady Gaga pop album. Because pop music is massive on the charts.
