Y’all said TheWeeknd would obliterate DWAS with ease… and her has dropped two songs since then and both failed to even overtake DWAS on the global chart. I’m not saying that TheWeeknd is a flop btw lol, all I’m trying to say that these days even big names can’t guarantee a hit, so just because Harry is about to drop a new song doesn’t mean it’s gonna break every record and block all the songs on charts, maybe he will, maybe he won’t, we can’t be sure. Even Taylor couldn’t produce a single smash from TTPD… like c’mon, if the song connects with the GP or the tiktok crowd it will be a hit, that’s it. I firmly believe that these days you don’t have to pander to the GP, because you literally can’t predict what song is gonna stick and what not. Teasers Monday, announcement Wednesday, release Friday She’ll 99% have a radio deal so a high debut ( top 3) is not ruled out. We literally have no clue what the sound of the song is, yet what the reception of the song will be. She’s Lady the Legendary Gaga, if she wants to smash and debut on #1 they will make it happen.
