This might be cope, but I do want to point out that Vogue in this article is the only one to say February.

It was not even a quote from Gaga or part of the Q and A. They also did not source why they said it like "And according to the Label, the album will be release in February."

Seemed out of place to me.

Wouldn't it be the first time that someone else besides Gaga revealed the album release date/month?

Yeah that’s a cope. The information will have come directly from Gaga’s team, Vogue journalists don’t pull things from thin air.

it's coming in february. grow up and move on sissies.

I can't believe some of y'all want this era to be over in a week when we can have multiple music videos, photoshoots, interviews, performances, teasers, etc. like what a NORMAL Gaga era is supposed to give.

and the album era is officially kicking off next month! like, what is there to complain about?!?!?!

Also, although other artists have had successful eras after 4 month spans between lead and album, this time around you'll have Halloween, US election, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. We saw how Radical Optimism panned out. And although Future Nostalgia did well, I think circumstances may have been different if it weren't for COVID.

But imagine the alternative: Gaga waits to drop the lead single until all of the Joker press has passed and there's a lot of less attention around her.

OR: Gaga releases the album in in October and it gets forgotten about due to the election and then Christmas.

With the current setup, she's kinda covering all her bases and averaging out the downsides. She's aligning the releases where there's the most press and just dealing with the lull in between. The joker promo will help the lead single and the grammys are gonna help the album debut.

So much good stuff is on the way. I keep forgetting just how much...it's actually mad to think about considering how starved we've been for the longest time. Almost doesn't feel real

Yeah tbh as a long time fan since The Fame, I'm honestly incredibly disappointed we are waiting so long for the album. Especially after she teased it in May, "my fans hate when I say 'soon' but 'soon!'", along with her designer's August album tease, the Paris snippets in July, the "can't wait for you hear what I've been working on", "fantasizing about releasing all my new music at once", etc, on top of it nearly being FIVE years since the release of her last album. It seems Gaga must have gotten her way in negotiating with Interscope for a longer era instead of a Billie-style drop. :vegas:

Also, although other artists have had successful eras after 4 month spans between lead and album, this time around you'll have Halloween, US election, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. We saw how Radical Optimism panned out. And although Future Nostalgia did well, I think circumstances may have been different if it weren't for COVID.

All in all, we just have to accept it for what it is. I do hope that given the long gap and busy time of year, there will be a lot of album content (additional singles, visuals, interviews, TikToks or SM teases, etc) to keep fans engaged over time and maintain everyone's interest. Although the hype is clearly high right now, we've seen how attention spans fizzle after waiting too long to release the album.

At any rate, we DO have this "surprise project" and I genuinely think we will be getting additional content prior to the new album, so let's see what the good sis has in store. :anveeroy:

Well said xx. Let’s just hope it’s all well worth the wait. And that we all love the lead single and everything that comes with it - the video, interviews, performances, Haus of Delulu  etc. That will all hopefully dominate October and November, then before we know it it’ll be Christmas and the busy festive season, new years, and then the second single and final build up to the album will come in no time. Let’s just enjoy it as it all comes, cuz it’s no good wishing our lives away over an album.

I'm fine, Ta
