How comes the tea last week was that the lead was not commercial at all and the album would be announced with the lead but now in a week the record label changed their mind and wants a commercial song + a Billie style release (so no lead before the album, yet theyre asking for a commercial song)

Im not asking Bling, I need you guys to understand Im not expecting to get an answer from him. Im just debating what the info he shares is 'cause it makes no sense to me. that TikTok of her saying "fantasying about releasing her music all at once" could have been to gauge public interest on a full drop. It's not hard to believe plans are indeed changing because of the DWAS success (a guess).

 

I think people are overlooking that TikTok, even without the tea I'd be expecting something honestly

There’s nothing to debate though. The tea can’t be disproven nor proven until LG7 actually happens though. For now all we have is word that things have been changing, which is pretty obvious at this point since we still have zero news

It’s interesting to me that providing a date or even an album title (both of which could be easily proven or disproven at some point) are somehow too risky to share, but multiple droplets of information regarding Gaga’s relationship with her label, the moving around of dates, the potential change in a lead single (and so on) are somehow all fine to share. As if the latter set of information wouldn’t also come from one of the small pool of people close to the project and thus identify them as the leak.

Just be wary of speculation packaged as facts. Particularly when said information aligns with pre-existing narratives and ideas around the release (e.g September/October). Or when the information comes out after something Gaga herself shares (e.g. a TikTok about wanting to release new music all at once - and now a rumour that Gaga and Interscope can’t agree on the rollout)  

And, no, random users on an internet forum with either no proven track record or an inconsistent track record are not reliable corroborators.

Whether true or not, well intentioned or not, all “information” is pure speculation until it can be confirmed. And the only information we’ll likely ever be able to properly confirm are dates and titles.

And yet when it comes out you wont be able to prove it. How are you gonna prove Gaga was having a bad relationship with her record label? How are you gonna try to claim the dark lyrics are your (meaning the insider) info when we've already been teased with bats, demons, magic potions and rats?  How are you gonna prove the album was originally planned to be released on Oct 25th?

I can see where you’re coming from, but it should be Gaga to share this information. Only few people will actually know the dates/title and they will not risk their jobs by spilling to fans on the internet. Also the fact we had no major leak yet signals that security is a top priority this time.
