I knew as soon as I saw this that the apology had been forced on her. It has 'damage control' written all over it. Justin's career's been going under since his last album but this latest single failure impacted by the embarrassment of Britney's song besting him and everyone laughing about it could be the final nail in the coffin. I can only imagine the crisis talks in his management team and they definitely wanted to blame Britney for it all. Remember Timbaland's comments about her, saying that Justin should've muzzled her? Don't think for a minute label execs don't want her to be silent and not spill anything more. It must be an incredibly tense time for the entire Timberlake family right now and if his career's over, they'll want Britney to take some responsibility for it. Will this woman ever be free of harassment from those around her?

Y'all need to put your tinfoil hats down, seriously. The controversy is beneficial for the company, it gets more people talking/buying/streaming not just one but 2 of their songs. "An ATRL insider" ... No receipts, no screen captures and reported *only* by a Twitter fanpage run by a Brazilian (?) fan. You guys should know better by now.
