Immigration surprised to the upside (students and temporary workers are seperate from the 500,000 annual target and can be volatile, some of these temporary immigrants end up staying permanently as well).

As a result 12 month trailing growth now hit 1.2M people, a 3.2% growth rate, faster than some Countries in Africa and continues to strain a severe housing shortage

Typically in todays day and age, developed Countries are facing anything from slightly shrinking population, to a growth rate of 0.8% to 1% at the very most

What's the birth rate in comparison to this?

1.3 to 1.4 children per woman :rip:

We have a surging population in a low birth rate Country purely from very high immigration rates

Canada with 1/9 the population of the US is taking in almost as many immigrants in total to put into perspective (though the US at 1.5M to 1.6M is still slightly higher in total)
