I'm almost certain there are scenes where confetti get shot into the air and the camera pans, they could easily add those into the trailer to show that its not 100% reality for her. And I think in today's comic book movie climate, that's what's needed. I think a lot of the GP is starting to get bored with superhero content unless it's exceptionally good and different. Joker 2 is a bold swing and I agree that they need to advertise it that way. The film is very high risk/high reward.
