I feel like they could throw in hints that its a delusional musical without hiding it. I'm almost certain there are scenes where confetti get shot into the air and the camera pans, they could easily add those into the trailer to show that its not 100% reality for her.

I can't be free if my hands are tied... 🧟‍♀️👰🏻

I remember when I went to see “into the woods” in theatres and people got up and left because it was a musical and they didn’t know.

so pleasantly surprised to see that i wasn’t in the minority!! this movie is a big swing, and i think it should be advertised as such

100%. And I think in today's comic book movie climate, that's what's needed. I think a lot of the GP is starting to get bored with superhero content unless it's exceptionally good and different. Joker 2 is a bold swing and I agree that they need to advertise it that way. The film is very high risk/high reward.
