I think it’s critically important that we don’t try to scrutinize her “commitment” to Chromatica. It was derailed by a once in a century pandemic, following by a global cultural reckoning on race. 
 

And not for nothing: Bobby told WSJ that we had an entire universe in store for us, then COVID. So again, I don’t think anyone here should citizen LG6 era as lacking effort. That’s not fair.

I think it would be different if there weren't other artists putting out mvs, content, and concert specials during the same time. 

EDIT: Not to mention the interviews where she said the Chromatica songs were passed around from producer to producer, each having different versions of the songs. So it felt like the project she had the least hand in, sonically. And as a long time Gaga fan, you can really tell. The songs lack a lot of that Gaga-punch or quality that is specifically Gaga. Which is why I called it safe.

I'm out of the business of comparing my girlies, so with great respect to you: I do not care what others were doing. We got three MVs and a lot of meme-able moments, so that isn't zero. If someone else in her milieu put out four MVs and even more meme-able moments… great! I'm happy for them. Everything in 2020 was a gift, more or less.

More to the point, I wonder what concessions others had to make given the circumstances. (That's not a dig. That's just a statement on the difficulties of making stuff during COVID, specifically anything that required more than one person present.)

Gaga hasn’t posted about LG7 since its start (probably early 2020). If she posted studio pics now, it’s because the release is imminent

So 2 1/2 weeks later, Blade is still confirming a February release. So within 33 days we will have new music! (Also, leap year so we get 29 days in Feb )

Honestly I kind of have a theory that we're not getting LG7 but a smaller Chromatica part 2 era similar to the Fame Monster. 
Like part of me is clowning hard for a Museum of Brutality Chromatica EP to acompany a tour film/doc release with zero evidence
